Grants & Grantees

Jewish Federation serves as the central fundraising organization for Jewish Greater Philadelphia. After raising tens of millions of dollars each year, we then evaluate both grant applications and the Jewish community’s most pressing needs and award grants to the programs that can most effectively meet the critical priorities of the local and global Jewish community. For the 2015-2016 program year, Jewish Federation awarded $24.2 million in grants to Jewish organizations and initiatives (grantees) – some Jewish Federation-managed, many managed by other organizations – so that Jewish Federation dollars could help strengthen Jewish life and Jewish lives.
