Ways to Help

The Northeast NORC needs your help!

There is a tremendous need in the Northeast neighborhoods to help our aging-in-place older adults.  Although still living independently, they need help with day-to-day chores that might be simple for us but nearly impossible for someone who is frail.

The Northeast NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community) helps older adults remain independent in their own homes and connected to their communities. YOU CAN HELP by volunteering to do minor home repairs, lawn clean up and winterizing chores that these older adults can no longer do for themselves.  We welcome individuals and groups from churches, synagogues, community organizations and businesses.  Our ecumenical organization is funded by Catholic Health Care Services, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and the Pew Foundation.

Adopt a Senior Citizen

Help older adults by volunteering to rake leaves, shovel snow and complete other chores that they can no longer do for themselves. We welcome individuals and youth groups from schools, synagogues, churches and community organizations. Click here to learn more.
