Jewish Camping

happy campersA Jewish summer camping experience is a key factor in determining whether or not a Jewish child will have a strong connection to the Jewish community as an adult. Federation is committed to helping provide this experience to as many young people as possible in our community through scholarships. This aid helps Jewish children to enjoy sports, arts and crafts, music and much more, while practicing important Jewish traditions and making lifelong friends.

For the summer of 2012, our Federation awarded 595 scholarships to low- and moderate-income families for Jewish day and overnight camps. We also granted 449 first- and second-year scholarships to Jewish overnight camps to inspire families to begin their children’s local Jewish camp experience or continue sending their children to Jewish identity camp.

Please let us help you to give your children the Jewish experience of a lifetime. Take just a few minutes to learn more about Federation’s camp scholarship/grant programs:
