Shalom Baby is an exciting program sponsored by the Center for Jewish Life and Learning of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. The program is designed to welcome parents and their new babies in the Greater Philadelphia area to our Jewish community. Shalom Baby is also a wonderful way to help new parents find support and build a social connection during this special time in their life.

A Shalom Baby Welcome Package will be delivered to each new family. Designed especially for new parents and their newest addition(s), the package is filled with a wonderful assortment of baby items and educational materials including our handy Resource Guide to help you find synagogues, preschools, and information on Jewish ceremonies and holidays. The packet is prepared in cooperation with the Jewish Information and Referral Services.
