January 21, 2013 is the 18th Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day(s) of Service. This milestone is a perfect opportunity for Americans to honor Dr. King’s legacy through service. The MLK Day of Service empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.

Many synagogues and community groups across our region are celebrating . King’s legacy by turning their community concerns into volunteer service and ongoing citizen action on King Day and beyond. Chick here for a list.
