The second Harmonies for Hunger Relief benefit concert, to support the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia's Mitzvah Food Project (MFP), was a great success!  The concert took place on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy.  The Mitzvah Food Project would like to express its sincere gratitude to the alumni of Barrack Hebrew Academy, who performed magnificently, and approximately 100 guests who helped them reach their goal of raising $3,000.  The program included classic and modern Broadway, Disney, R&B, pop, and jazz tunes and original compositions.

We would like to thank the generous individual, gold and bronze sponsors, who make the work of MFP possible (please see below for a list of individual sponsors) as well as our corporate and institutional sponsors: Max and David’s, who catered the event, the Jewish Exponent, Gratz College, and the Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy.  The Mitzvah Food Project and its recipients are sincerely grateful to Deena and Sara Goldstein for creating this benefit to support Federation's MFP for the second year in a row!
