The Community Youth Initiative (CYI) at the JCCs of Greater Philadelphia offers 6th through 12th grade students an opportunity to meet new friends, explore Jewish identity and cultural programs, participate in community service events, and collaborate with teens from synagogues and youth groups throughout the Philadelphia area and the surrounding counties.

Cost: $1000 includes flight, ground transportation in both Israel and US, admission to museums and activities, and most meals.
Mifgash (Hebrew for "encounter") is an international leadership opprotunity for high school students graduating in 2009 or 2010. Travel to Israel with 15 of your Israeli peers, tour the land, experience the culture, and stay with your new Israeli friends in their homes! In return, the same teens you are with in Israel will join you in Philadelphia, and you get the opportunity to host an Israeli teen and share the American side of Jewish life!
